The Potholes Eradication Program aims to improve road safety and quality by eradicating potholes in the Free State province. It focuses on training and upskilling the youth, providing them with CETA-accredited training and a Level 3 NQF qualification.
This project has afforded Repair Holdings the opportunity to showcase the quality of our Cold Asphalt in the rehabilitation of the Free State roads. Our product, the Robust Road Repair Cold Asphalt is easy to use, instant and permanent.
Our Repair formula contains five imported highly specialised additives, penetration grade bitumen and graded aggregates.

About the program:
- The project focuses on empowering unskilled women and youth by providing them with skills-building opportunities.

- Since its launch in November 2023, the program has already created over 550 jobs.
- The target is to reach 650 jobs by the end of February 2024.
- The primary goal is to repair a total of 70,000 square meters of road sections across the province by March 2024.
- Road sections in Mangaung, Xhariep, Lejweleputswa, Thabo Mofuntsanyana, and Fezile Dabi are receiving attention.

Machinery:
Repair Holdings Quarry plant uses only some of the most advanced technology to produce asphalt. The IAP Super-mobile Asphalt Plant (Model: IAP40 – IAP120) is ideal for producing consistent and high-quality mix, which is essential for ensuring the durability longevity and efficiency to our work. We use this machinery for laying roads, highways, and all other transportation infrastructure projects.

EARTH–MOVING MACHINERY
Our earth-moving machinery has large power output and low fuel consumption. Equipped with a torque converter and heavy loading drive axle, producing large traction force. Swift loading /unloading speed, large breakout force.
The whole machine is flexible, with flexible steering, short wheelbase and small turning radius that has blade and bucket made of wear-resistant steel, longer service lift “C”-shaped protecting bush that is used at the hinge joint of hinge pin, which has good dust proof effect and makes the hinge joint of hinge pin more wearable.
ROAD MACHINERY
Our road machinery Rollers have CUMMINS engine, fully hydraulic, Articulated steering, patented crab mechanism, double drum drive, Dual vibration frequency, dual vibration amplitudes, ensuring better compaction.
The Cabin has an air conditioner, and a flexible steering seat that is comfortable and spacious.
According to the intelligent control of engine power output, the overall fuel saving of the whole machine can reach above 8%.
